Member Agreement
(Private Membership Association)
I hereby apply for and accept membership into the Christian Villages Private Membership Association (hereinafter “Association” or “CV PMA”), a private, faith-based membership community operating under the principles of biblical fellowship, voluntary association, and private contract.
By entering into this agreement, I voluntarily choose to become a private Member of this Association and agree to all terms herein.
Mission Statement
The mission of Christian Villages is to restore biblical community by helping believers live as the Body of Christ through shared life, family, stewardship, and Kingdom purpose. We exist to cultivate communities that reflect Christ-centered living, covenant relationships, strong families, shared stewardship of land and resources, visible expressions of the Kingdom of God.
Article I — Purpose and Belief
We, the Members of this Association, voluntarily unite in private fellowship under:
• the authority of Jesus Christ
• the teachings of Scripture
• and the principles of biblical community
This Association exists to:
➔ Restore the model of shared life demonstrated in the early church (Acts 2 & 4)
➔ Support individuals and families seeking intentional Christian community
➔ Facilitate discipleship, fellowship, and Kingdom living in everyday life
➔ Encourage stewardship of land, resources, and relationships
➔ Provide a private environment for education, collaboration, and community-building among Members
Article II — Nature of Association
This is a Private Membership Association (PMA). It is not a public business, institution, or commercial enterprise. All interactions within this Association are private, member-to-member, faith-based and voluntary. This Association operates as a private fellowship of believers, not as a public offering or service provider.
Article III — Membership
Membership is by application and approval only. By becoming a Member, I agree to:
➔ Acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord
➔ Align with the mission of building Christ-centered community
➔ Conduct myself with integrity, humility, honor, and love
➔ Participate as a contributor, not merely a consumer
➔ Engage in relationships with a commitment to growth, reconciliation, and unity
Member Understanding
I understand that:
• Community requires responsibility, not entitlement
• Growth involves discomfort and refinement
• Relationships require communication, forgiveness, and maturity
Article IV — Activities
The Association may engage in:
➔ Community-building gatherings, retreats, and events
➔ Education on biblical community, family culture, and stewardship
➔ Facilitation of connections between Members seeking to live in proximity
➔ Land, housing, and village development discussions and collaborations
➔ Skill-sharing, resource-sharing, and mutual support among Members
All activities are conducted privately between Members.
Article V — Governance
The Association shall be guided by:
• Founders and appointed leaders
• Counsel rooted in Scripture, wisdom, prayer, and discernment
• Leadership exists to serve, not control, and to maintain spiritual alignment, relational health, and clarity of vision
Article VI — Conflict Resolution
Members agree that all disputes will be handled privately and biblically. This includes:
➔ Direct communication (Matthew 18 principle)
➔ Mediation when needed
➔ Restoration as the goal
Members agree not to bring disputes into public courts or external systems.
Article VII — Terms and Responsibility
By becoming a Member, I agree:
➔ I am fully responsible for my decisions, actions, and outcomes
➔ I voluntarily participate in all activities
➔ I release the Association, its leaders, and Members from liability related to participation
➔ I understand this is a private, faith-based community—not a guaranteed outcome or service
Article VIII — Culture and Contribution
Christian Villages is not built by passive participation. Members agree to:
➔ Contribute through time, skill, presence, or resources
➔ Support the health of the community
➔ Avoid divisiveness, dishonor, or disengagement
The Association reserves the right to remove Members who:
• consistently disrupt unity
• refuse accountability
• or do not contribute to the life of the community
Article IX — Membership Revocation or Exit
Membership may be:
➔ Revoked by leadership for violation of values or conduct
➔ Voluntarily ended by the Member at any time
Members agree to honor any commitments made during their membership.
Article X — Final Declaration
By joining this Association, I declare:
• I desire to live in alignment with Christ and His Kingdom
• I value community over isolation
• I commit to growth, contribution, and integrity
• I freely choose to participate in this private fellowship
Acknowledgment
By signing below, I acknowledge that:
• I have read and understand this agreement
• I am entering voluntarily
• I agree to all terms and conditions
• I understand this is a private, faith-based membership association
